The Keith Brymer Jones Word Range is a collection of super white porcelain tableware. Each piece features a unique hand-stamped colourful word or phrase in a classic retro, typewriter font. As can be seen, the range embraces clean styling, hint of vintage and a large slice of humour. The Word Range features mugs, plates, teapots, jugs, storage jars, a butter dish and so much more.

Keith Brymer Jones started as an apprentice at Harefield Pottery aged 18. His first job was to unload clay from two filter presses. He then pursued his own career hand-making ceramics from his London studio for retailers. For example: Conran, Heals, Habitat, Marks and Spencer, Ted Baker, Laura Ashley, Monsoon, Bergdorf Goodman, Barneys New York and Anthropologie.

Every piece in the Keith’s Word Range is made from super white porcelain. Firing at an incredibly high temperature creates the hard-wearing finish. Pieces in the collection are both dishwasher and microwave safe.

The design stage of each new product and the perfect prototype starts on Keith’s potter’s wheel in his UK studio. The full production then takes place in China. Unquestionably, a country with a deep-rooted history in expert ceramic production. Keith works closely with a team of highly skilled craftsmen to perfect the delicate production process. So they ensure each mug, bowl or jug matches the same style and high quality of his original design. Keith is proud to manufacture his ceramic ranges responsibly in China. In light of this, he has made a fun video to let everyone know here. It is Keith’s dream to bring production home to the UK. Fingers crossed; this dream may not be too far away!
