“As a student in Manchester, I used to get my hair cut at Vidal Sassoon as they did very cheap cuts for students so the young hairdressers could experiment. I once came out with an asymmetric bob which made me look a bit like Mary Quant. I’ve had many bobbed haircuts since and my love of monochrome has definitely been influenced by Mary’s 60s iconic geometric designs.” Jane Foster
